1 year until Irish Paralympians compete for honours at London 2012

There is just one year to go until London 2012 Paralympic Games get underway and a host of Irish Paralympic athletes are already eyeing a podium finish at the games next summer.

6 days, 700km to raise €250,000 for Special Olympics and Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland

Starting on Saturday 24th September 2011, 20 Irish men and women will spend 6 days cycling from Paris to Nice. We aim to raise over €250,000 for people with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland was founded in 1978 to offer sporting and recreational opportunities to individuals with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities. Since those early days the association has grown and today Irish Athletes with cerebral palsy compete in five sporting disciplines in local, national and international levels of competition.
