The Irish Paralympic Cycling Squad followed up on last week’s medal winning and record breaking performance at the Paralympic World Cup with two more Irish Records and two wins at the Schlapp Tandem Omnium in Manchester on Sunday and the Paralympic Grand Prix of Wales in Newport on Monday.

The Irish got the first day of the Paralympic World Cup at Manchester Velodrome off to a great start on Thursday last with Locomotor Disorder Cyclist Cathal Miller just missing out on a Bronze Medal in an exciting ride off against the British rider in the 4km Pursuit.

The recent glorious weather unfortunately broke for the IBS National May Games last Saturday, resulting in a damp, windy day. There were approx 170 entrants which included a number of Ireland’s senior athletes, competing in their bid to secure selection to the Irish Paralympic Team

Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland are hosting their National Boccia Championships this weekend in the University of Limerick.

The final of the National Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland Boccia League was held last Tuesday the 29th of April in the Institute of Technology Limerick. Four teams lined up to battle it out for their place in the league rankings.
