Callaghan wins John Davis Memorial Trophy at IBS May Games

The recent glorious weather unfortunately broke for the IBS National May Games last Saturday, resulting in a damp, windy day. Among the 170 entrants were a number of Ireland’s senior athletes, competing in their bid to secure selection to the Irish Paralympic Team.  Lisa Callaghan (F37 javelin) received the John Davis Memorial Trophy for best performance of the competition with a personal best distance of 25.05m. Lorraine Regan (F56) achieved a personal best in the shot putt with a distance of 6.08m. Other results included 6.57m for Eoin Cleare (F32 Shot Putt)  and 9.20m for Rosemary Tallon (F53 Javelin).
