Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland

Minister of State for the Department of Transport, Sport and Tourism Mr. Michael Ring T.D. was on hand at the RDS, Dublin today to announce the Irish Paralympic Team for the London2012 Paralympic Games which commence on 29thAugust.

The national Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland Boccia League Final will take place on the 19th July in Ballinteer Community School.

Although every FAI Summer Soccer School is open to all children we have recognised that some children may need additional support with lower coach to participant ratio’s and also a bigger emphasis on the individual needs of all participants.

London 2012 bound Sycerika McMahon paid tribute to the volunteers who played a vital role in hersporting career, when she helped launch the 2012 Volunteers in Irish Sport Awards today.
McMahon was joined at today’s launch at the Aviva Stadium by Dublin under-21 footballer PhilipRyan and fitness trainer to the Dublin Hurling Panel, Martin Kennedy.

Starting on Saturday 29th September 2012, Irish men and women will spend 6 days cycling from Paris to Nice. We aim to rise over €1 million Euros for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. We are asking you to join us in participating in this magnificent challenge of a lifetime!

The Annual General Meeting of Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland will take place on Saturday the 30th June 2012 at 2.00pm in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry
