Paris2nice Fundraising Barbeque will take place on Saturday the 23rd in the Fitzwilliam lawn Tennis Club @ 7.30pm.

The event is being run to raise funds for the Paris2nice cycle challenge in aid of special olympics and Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland.

Starting on Saturday 29th September 2012, Irish men and women will spend 6 days cycling from Paris to Nice. We aim to rise over €1 million Euros for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. We are asking you to join us in participating in this magnificent challenge of a lifetime!

Following on from the hugely successful 2011 Paris2Nice, when 23 cyclists got together and raised over €242,000 for Special Olympics Ireland; Special Olympics Europe/Eurasia and Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland, preparations and training have already begun for the 2012 challenge. This year we are setting the bar even higher than last year with the aim of recruiting 100 cyclists and raising €1 million for these great charities.
