Ireland suffered a cruel defeat today at the hands of current Paralympic silver medallists, Russia.

On Friday last the 20th August Ireland played their third game in four days at these European championships when they faced the current Paralympic champions, Ukraine. Ireland produced a structured and controlled first half creating a number of chances but failed to break a strong Ukraine defence

Today at CPISRA European champs in Glasgow Ireland produced an excellent performance winning 6 - 0 against a strong England team.
