Following on from a very successful Training Camp in Tipperary last weekend Team Manager Paul Cassin has announced his Panel for the CPISRA European Campionship to be held in Glasgow from the 15th - 29th August.

Ireland’s visually impaired sprinter Jason Smyth celebrated a double victory as he became not only the first Paralympian ever to compete at the European Athletics Championships but also qualified for the 100 metres semi-finals at the prestigious event which started in Barcelona today.

30 of Ireland’s top employers recently attended the Irish Institute of Sport (IIS) in Abbotstown at a event that explained the vision, operations and benefits of the Employer Support Network which is a joint venture between the IIS and the Great Places to Work Institute.

The IWA - Sport & CPSI joint National Athletics Championships will take place on Saturday the 3rd of July 2010 in Athlone IT, Athlone Co Westmeath.
